Experiment Samsung Wave 533 Linux
Though this phone doesn't have a great features like any other higher end, I face some tough time to copy/paste message from Internet to send SMS.
Unfortunately I didn't know about the device interface provided in Linux for Samsung.
A day when I was trying to connect my phone to transfer some files to my SD card (Yes, I don't have a direct SD card interface in my laptop) I ended failing to connect.
But what I have noticed at that time is the 'dmesg' showing
[53218.288051] usb 1-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
[53220.027116] cdc_acm 1-4:1.0: This device cannot do calls on its own. It is not a modem.
[53220.027428] cdc_acm 1-4:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device
[53220.033976] cdc_acm 1-4:1.3: This device cannot do calls on its own. It is not a modem.
[53220.034308] cdc_acm 1-4:1.3: ttyACM1: USB ACM device
[53220.044895] usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_acm
[53220.044900] cdc_acm: v0.26:USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems and ISDN adapters
a tty basically a serial device got detected. Time to play around now
launched minicom, connected to the /dev/ttyACM0 and executed a basic command
AT
got reply
OK
Cool. Now time to find some software to send and receive sms from my phone in Linux.
Gnokii installed and configured it
$ cat gnokii-samsung-wave-533
[global]
port = /dev/ttyACM0
model = AT
connection = serial
serial_baudrate = 38400
bindir = /usr/local/sbin/
use_locking = yes
$ sudo gnokii --config gnokii-samsung-wave-533 --identify
GNOKII Version 0.6.29
IMEI : 353926040348475
Manufacturer : Broadcom
Model : GT-S5330
Product name : GT-S5330
Revision : BCM2133x_SW_Release
My experiment ended satisfyingly success. Now I'm ending here for samsung wave 533 connectivity for linux. Gnokii will take it further to send and receive sms from your samsung wave 533.
Further from here, can do dial-up using the serial device to connect GPRS If Im not wrong ACM1 should be for that purpose, so will write shortly if I found any information.

Every person is a book.
some we read only the preface,
some we only see what they have (content),
some we recognize by others feedback,
some we read half way through,
some we read fully,
but fact is we have limitation in understanding everyone
and its only to the person's perception who read them.
and even when we close a book fully read, we wont remember each and everyline
but we remember them as a concept based on our understanding
Every person is a book and only the author understand him (God and himself)

A Nice Article about Love
A Nice Article about Love : ( by Swami Vivekananda )
I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love."
This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.
This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love...they try to posses it, they demand, they expect... and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you .
For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.
# Give and don't expect.
# Advise, but don't order.
# Ask, but never demand.
It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring."
Passing thought... Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away.....

Triple filter
Thhee Sooccrraatteess Trriippllee FFiilltteerr Teesstt
In ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem.
One day an acquaintance met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"
”Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before telling me anything, I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test."
”Triple filter?"
”That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the triple filter test.”
”The first filter is TRUTH. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
”No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and..."
’All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not.
Now let's try the second filter, the filter of GOODNESS. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"
”No, on the contrary..."
”So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, but you're not certain it's true.
You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left: the filter of USEFULNESS. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"
”No, not really."
”Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?"
Friends, use this triple filter each time you hear loose talk about any of your near & dear friends.

A very nice story
Beside the young man one couple was sitting and listening to this incredible conversation between father and son. They were most awkward seeing a 25 year old man behaving like a small child. Then it started raining and some rain drops touched the young man's hand.
couple feeling embarrassed could not help themselves asking the father, "Why don't you visit a medical specialist... and see if your son can be treated?"
We find it so easy to jump to conclusions and pass judgments...

KEEP CONFIDENCE...!! TRUST OTHERS.....!! NEVER LOSE HOPE......!!
CONFIDENCE:
Once all village people decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer all people gathered and only one boy came with an umbrella.... That's Confidence..
TRUST:
Trust should be like the feeling of a one year old baby when you throw him in the air; he laughs.....because he knows you will catch him.... That's Trust..
HOPE:
Every night we go to bed, we have no assurance to get up alive in the next morning but still we have plans for the coming day.... That's Hope..
KEEP CONFIDENCE...!! TRUST OTHERS.....!! NEVER LOSE HOPE......!!

The Importance of a Definite Goal
One of the primary obstacles to success is the lack of a definite aim – knowing what you want to achieve or attain. The lack of a definite aim results in either doing nothing, or starting one thing and then quitting and starting something else. This kind of behavior doesn’t lead to success. You can achieve more and better results when you define your goal, big or small, and work toward achieving it.
You cannot get anywhere, if you don’t know what you want. Many start in one direction without much thinking, but after some time realize that they don’t really want what they have been pursuing, and switch to something else. If you don’t know exactly what you want, you cannot attract it into your life.
One focused on a definite goal is like a person who sees his destination at the end of the road, and walks straight toward it, while one without a definite goal doesn’t know in which direction to go, and either stands still in one spot, or keep changing directions, and consequently wasting time and energy and getting nowhere.
Aiming at a definite goal is like focusing the lenses of a binocular or a microscope. You need to focus the lenses in order to see clearly, because otherwise you will see a blurred image. It is the same with visualization; you need to focus on a clear aim in order to attract it into your life.
It is usually not so simple to define goals, and most people don’t really know what they want. You need a clear and detailed mental picture in order to focus and direct your mental energy toward the realization of your goal. To do this, you need to know exactly what you want, and not behave like a blindfolded person standing at a crossroads not knowing which direction to take. Only when you know both the destination and the direction you can proceed in the shortest and most direct way.

Thirukural a world literature
Thirukural written by Thiruvalluvar consists of three books, the first book on aram (the way or dharma), the second on porul (material or artha) and the third on inbam (joy or kama).
We could have come across lot of literatures, what special about this one ? Why should we call it as a world literature ?
The point which i can say simply about it is "Its a single literature which explains moral of life with different category, which the whole world can accept without any refute"
we say, geetha given to human by god
thiruvasagam given to god by human
Its only Thirukural, which is given to human by human
Translated version follow: http://www.tamilnation.org/literature/kural/kuralE1.htm
If you have any question how you should act/react, you can just refer Thirukural
I'm very much surprised and impressed about author Thiruvalluvar that he has the visionary of human evolution, long years ago. You can find out all statements suits all times and without loosing moral of life. His words are stronger in this literature it is really a great treasure for the whole world.
Little more info about literature, It was written in Tamil, author followed all the grammatical/rhyming rules. It has 1330 kural(statements), each kural has 7 tamil words 4 in 1st line, 3 in second/last line. Thats what amazing about the author.

Laptop Vs Desktop
but from my perspective, it depends
I would like to watch movies and connect audio jack to the speaker with a mini size notebook laptop where ever I go.
As a developer I need to use if for my work too, It is not a big deal running my linux and all other programs. Considering the speed also it doesnt bother me much as I do run only the necessary things not loading my full memory by multiprocessing.
A laptop can also be used as a Desktop by connecting Video port to and place it just as a CPU and start your work for the convenience of the user. You can have a wireless Keyboard&mouse, External hard disk, External DVD Driver too for the slimer notebook. Everything become portable.
Considering the cost it is going to be 20% - 30% higher than just a full fledged non-portable desktop PC. But the protability and adaptability you cant get it with desktop. We all move forward but need the backward compatibility with technology so think about that before you buy a laptop.
It is just my opinion with my experience of what I want from Desktop and Laptop.

Why Most Twitter Users Give Up ?
Twitter has gotten oodles of media attention lately, and I'm guessing that many users are signing up just to see what the ruckus is about. If Oprah and Ashton Kutcher use Twitter, it must be worth checking out, right? But once the newbies spend a few days telling the world what they're doing in 140-character bursts -- or reading mind-numbing "I'm-at-the-market" updates from friends and family -- the novelty wears off in a hurry.
